First Blog
So, I’ve been working on this website now for a few days and I’m getting html’d out! Really, it hasn’t been that bad. I’m actually excited about this site and the prospect of releasing my first CD. I don’t have the exact release date cause I have three or four songs left to record. The first five I think actually sound great and there is still more production work left to do on them. Go to the music page and you can listen for yourself. (Oh yeah, be sure to go to myspace and facebook and become a fan if you like what you hear). I have to give a lot of credit to a really, really good and best-est friend of mine Cody Jensen. He is the one who took the pictures you see on the photos page, helped me find this blog site and helped me with his incredibly artistic eye. Thank you to Cody Jensen!! (YOU ROCK!!!!) By the way, those of you reading this should go to facebook and become a fan of his work. Eric Castillo and Hector Mancha are two more really, really good best-est friends I need to thank as well. They were gracious enough to drive from New Mexico to Oklahoma just to lay down some tracks in the studio. (You guys did great!!!) Not only did they do that but they are actually moving to Oklahoma in January to help further my career and goals in becoming a worship recording artist and songwriter. They are very talented and I want to say thanks to them because they believe in me enough to move without knowing what the future holds. Well, I have to go to bed now. It is 1:40am on Christmas eve. This is my first blog and I hope everyone enjoys reading it and maybe it will give a little insight into my life and journey as a husband, daddy, worshiper, pastor, artist, Christ-follower and most importantly a person. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and gets everything they asked and yet doesn’t forget the reason we give and receive gifts in the first place. God gave us his best gift ever when Jesus was born. So, tell him “happy birthday” and you’ll hear from me soon!
